What Is Life’s Meaning

What Is Life’s Meaning? Have you ever thought about this in a constructive manner? This post has been updated on 03-25-23

Have you ever questioned What is Life’s Meaning? Most of us have at one time wondered if we actually were living our life as it was meant to be. Our discussion today may possibly add to your questions.

So What is Life’s Meaning?

As we pursue life’s meaning, there are many questions that may still be unanswered. From the beginning of time, life has been made up of not just living day to day, but of experiences that alter life. How do you view life? The meaning of life is most likely a personal objective. We will discuss “some” of what we have learned by exploring what has been written about the meaning of life.

“When we pull back and get, for a moment, the “bird’s eye” view of life, it reveals meanings that are ungraspable by the narrow focus on our usual worm’s eye view.”

Colin Wilson

Have you ever had an experience when you had a moment of greater understanding? A simple knowing when your consciousness seemed beyond your usual? When this happens, you are thinking with your whole brain. You are seeing from a bird’s eye view of life.

Bird’s Eye Definition

bird’seye view is an elevated view of an object from above, with a perspective as though the observer were a bird, often used in the making of blueprints, floor plans, and maps. It can be an aerial photograph, but also a drawing. -Wikipedia

To love, to feel, to enjoy the act of living, to have the power from within, to live a life of joy.

Are You Living In Your Full Capacity Within Your Life?

How The Human Brain Works For Balancing Life

The left brain integrates with the right brain, (the feelings, and emotions) side and you have an increased energy flow between the two sides. This is thinking in a balanced way. It is what is called the New Age- a new level of maturity in mental development, an awakening.

If you learn how to arouse the full capacity of your brain, at will, your consciousness may be freely altered, to fulfill the task or situation at hand.

This is like brainstorming a solution to a problem at work, in your family, or as with anything. When you have found a solution and no one else figured it out.” You did it.” It felt so good.

Are You Living in Full Consciousness?

When a person learns that they have the capacity, they seem to feel full of good fortune and great possibilities. Actually, it is nothing out of the ordinary but essentially full consciousness and working in full efficiency.

What is this thing called The Meaning of Life?

Nothing actually feels any better than to know you have accomplished something beyond the norm. It is empowering.

When You Start To Learn About the Rules of Life – you may clearly see what is life’s meaning…

Research began for some sound answers about personal growth. Why do some people resist help and do not see the need to improve their life in general? While studying different aspects… here are some facts…

You might be surprised that we should have learned so much of what we should put into practice long before now, and by the age of seven.

The ability to inhibit personal impulses to abide by rules and the norm comprises a major developmental achievement. This is a central component of moral development and referred to the conflicts that come from the moral duty and the desire as the problem of will.

What We Now Know

In this same study, such willpower poses a difficult challenge for young children. Those who have not developed inhibitory control generally think of positive emotions as what feels good from their desire for fulfillment. The negative emotions as caused by not getting what one wants. (Oh,…not just the babies).

The babies learn as they progress that you can also feel good about having obeyed the rules. Or, having done things appropriately, and they can feel negative emotions from breaking the rules. You know that feeling and experience on a very different level. As you get older you learn greater responsibility because the rules you break are a much greater severity to human existence.

Can You Enhance Your Life to Something More?

Achieving Personal Enhancement

One study confirmed that all people have learned disabilities, the ones that set boundaries for their actions. It also confirms that they do not have to remain as they were shaped by their hereditary body-mind and by the condition of childhood or culture.

This is where the “power of will” kicks in when you have found a goal or something you want to do or must do to make things better for yourself. The brain is formatted so that it will adapt itself to the demands of your mind. Determination; if you will.

The Destruction of Anger and Depression

For example, the young mother who has been left alone to raise a child. She works, goes to school, and gains a profession that saves her financial life and her child’s. It is then that she finds the ability to do it all and make the grade at all odds. This mother could get depressed and angry, however, she would not be productive, nor accomplish what is needed for her family.

When anger and depression dwell in destructive ways, it can be the result of negative or unbalanced inner speech that one may not be conscious of. For instance, if someone practices self-defeating behavior, they are not doing things from the right perspective.  This can occur even though common sense warns of the consequences.

Why Do Smart People Make Mistakes?

Why do smart people make such a mistake? This behavior keeps people from reaching their goals. It can include something as simple as holding a grudge or fear of losing something if they make a change in their life to do things differently.

In addition, these destructive ways and this self-defeating behavior can be from repressed feelings or emotions that we do not want to remember. It can be events that are from a childhood disaster, and it can also be from a time of trauma at any time prior to the present.

When something has happened that you do not want to remember or feel that pain again. You have anger or depression for many different reasons. Sometimes you are angry with yourself and you take it out on others without getting a grip on what you are doing.

Are You Using Your Full Capacity

You act on your life patterns that are predictable on a day-to-day matter and only respond semi-consciously when things attract your attention.

One instance is when you get to work and do not even remember leaving home, or you get to work and do not remember which route you took. The unused 90% is susceptible to hypnotic influences and is driven by the environment and circumstances.

In other words, you would need to wake up to your full mental capacity.

Insight-A Higher Self

Dr. Peter Shepherd indicates that you can wake up your brain, life, and self, and become more.

Dr. Shepherd also states that man’s nature is essentially spiritual. But there is no good to seek spiritual things until you can distinguish the spiritual from the mundane.

In other words, you have to know who you are, understand yourself, and know why you act or do not act a certain way. However, you must have the desire to grow and learn to your full capacity.

All Humans Are More Alike Than They Will Admit

Studies also indicate that all humans are more alike than they want to admit. Dr. Shepherd emphatically agrees that each person is unlike any other being that exists, but….

They are qualitatively different, and yet are subject to universal law, social and biological causes, and learned behavior that is common to all. This means action, describable and analyzable difficulties, illnesses, and similarities of behavior that are discernible to “humans.”

What We Learn From Basic Psychiatric Nursing

All humans have the same basic needs. Basic human needs fall into three categories – physical, emotional, and social.

Physical needs are those that we need to stay alive such as food, clothing, and shelter for body warmth, protection, water, oxygen, exercise, and rest.

Emotional needs that we all share are the need for love- to be loved and then to love others. While also needing approval and esteem; and the need for importance. The latter includes respect, adequacy, which includes self-sufficiency, and the need to be needed and wanted. *Basic Psychiatric Nursing-Third Edition

Are You In Full Awareness

While studying this particular part of living in an unconscious state, a person should begin to think about not living in a conscious state of mind. Actually not think about what they are up to on a minute-to-minute basis. We all do it or have experienced this kind of behavior.

Many people muddle through life not knowing what their true potential is. What they are doing is common, and it is repeated with day-to-day actions out of habit.  Most are not living in the present moment and are in automatic mode.

Are You Mindful of How You Are Living?

In so many words, we get into a rut of living our life.  You go about a job you have done for years and you do not have to think much because you have learned or memorized it so well.

You quit thinking, growing, and becoming more; you become complacent.  It is easy to do things automatically. Simply because you have always done them this way and you continue, therefore you do not grow to your full potential.

You Must Want to Learn

If you want to improve knowing yourself and have knowledge of your higher self, and your higher abilities to do things better you must want to learn new ways.

New ways and formats to accomplish all the abilities you are born with.

“It is said that if you are to obtain a higher self; you must first acquire qualities that you think you already have, but deceive yourself.”

The Project- Become Your Highest Self And You Will Establish Your Own Meaning of Life

If you desire to be your highest self, you might find this intriguing. Many times one does not see the need to propel to a higher standard.

Why not explore if you are living the life that you have the opportunity of having? If you are fully satisfied, that is great news. This is food for thought from professionals.

Is it possible that you could challenge yourself to see if you can improve your life and live your highest self?
