These 20 Success Rules For Living Life Well…
…These can be the groundwork you implement daily to get to success; however, you must make the choice. These rules and tools are not associated only with a physical or technical product, or personal intelligence. They are more like character, values, and beliefs that are essential to a life of success. They could be called ‘life’ tools.
These success tools mentioned are not from a study of the fundamental nature of knowledge or intelligence as we have previously stated. They are more like a sound judgment from a human who has lived a while and watched a few people live their life.
These are just some reminders that will keep anyone in touch with what guides people to a healthy life or a destructive one.
When a person finds their passion in life, they normally work to become the best at it. They live it, breathe it, whatever it is, and whatever it takes, they want to do it. However, true success comes with the price of paying attention to what is right and just.
It is important to be responsible for our actions, reactions, and decisions to help us make a successful landing. To be truly successful we must remind ourselves that our passion cannot betray our values.
It Is Easy to Get Caught Up In the Process
These 20 success rules for living life well are sometimes hard to remember as we get caught in our own folly, or when we hit a stump. We then start the mental mechanism of self-talk; “if only.”
If only, I had checked my list of success rules and tools, my outcome might have been different. Again, no expertise is needed to figure this out.
These are simple, easy to implement, and necessary for a disciplined life. It does not mean there will be no mistakes along the way, but then at least we have made the decision to do our best.
Just realizing that these tools listed are must-haves to build true success, the success that you deserve, with a passion you desire so greatly, and without all of the hype.
“Success is not about having or possessing, it is about living a responsible life. We must learn what works, what does not work, and what works best.”
It is about giving back help to someone who might be struggling, and someone who has helped you. It is there that you will feel the most success, even before you reach that plateau that makes you feel you have made it.
Make yourself a list of rules that follow your character which can be intertwined with values. These success rules are just as important as intellectual abilities, often classified as emotional intelligence (EQ).
- Self-Control- self-discipline
- Emotional Intelligence
12 Important Do’s and Don’ts to Follow the rules…
- Never underestimate yourself, or anyone else.
- It is always important to never let your expectations of others be more than you expect of yourself.
- Always have the skill to step back and evaluate.
- Look for solutions, rather than getting upset over something that has gone wrong. Finding solutions, teaching implementation, and being able to give someone else the credit, can be similar to throwing a lifejacket at someone.
- Having the right attitude is more important sometimes than being right.
- When you can lighten up when it seems impossible will define how to proceed.
- Being able to laugh at yourself is the acceptance that not any of us are perfect.
- Knowing where you will not tread for success is one of the greatest decisions you will ever make.
- Keeping your eyes on the process and not the end results makes it easier.
- Knowing that quality is more important than being the first to finish, while patience works miracles.
- You are not the only person who wants to be successful and you cannot get anywhere by putting yourself before others.
- Knowing that normally, no one reaches success in one day, it is a lifetime journey.
“In the end, it is not about how you have produced, delivered, or what you have obtained. It is about your performance.”
The Success Journey
How do you see your successful journey thus far?
Everywhere we read it states that success is a journey and that it is very different for all. That is why there is so much written about success. However, it must be narrowed down to the individual, their perspective toward life, and their method of obtaining it.
Success is not what we make in money, power, or fame. It entails something far more important, it entails who we really are. If we kick someone else out of the game to get what we want or think we must have, we are not going to enjoy the results.
That little “soul nudge” that says something isn’t quite right is what we should listen to. Giving credit to those who have helped us, not only helps another soul; it gives beauty and satisfaction to our soul.
Quite simply, there is no other human who can get anywhere in life without the help of someone else.
My Favorite Success Quote:
Peaceful Living Brings Success, There is Always Peace When Helping Another Soul
Peace and happiness do not come from things, it comes from doing what is right, and being at peace with oneself. If this is not true, why do we see so many individuals making their own pain?
Some have inherited their fame, and their success, making it of less value as it amounted to no work on their part. Others have worked for what they have accomplished but misplaced the value of it.
They seem to have too many “things” because they can’t stay out of trouble or away from what is destructive. These people are still seeking something, which can only be satisfied from within, and they do not have a clue how to find it.
Success rules and tools are those things we build for ourselves in our efforts to do things the right way. No one has all the knowledge they need or the right way to do all things. However, we can strive to know how to accomplish our success in a way that will meet the expectations of everyone.
If we are seeking the right success rules-tools then we are seeking the right path to growth and in the end, our efforts will feel like triumphs. Simply, because every step of the way, we have worked to make the right choices.
“We will feel the joy of success; win, or lose, because we played it honestly, and without guilt.”
