What Is My Purpose In Life – is this your question?

Are you asking the question, what is my purpose in life? If your life is not as passionate as you would like it to be, if you lack the zest and energy for living, we have some suggestions to help. We want you to know that it isn’t impossible to change these fragments that make you feel lost.

You are not alone, most humans, including myself, at some point in their lives have had to step back and examine their path of life. Very often the detours saved the day as the changes were necessary for my life.

A question you should ask yourself is what are your underlying principles? Where would you like to go, meaning, how high, how far, or slow down? Are you moving too rapidly, are you not balanced, and are your priorities in the wrong place? You have choices and it is up to you what you change.

Understanding, igniting, or changing your life’s purpose is a profound journey that can bring fulfillment and meaning.

Understanding The Principle of Choice When Looking For Your Purpose in Life

Norman Vincent Peale has this to say about the power of choice:

“The greatest power we have is the power of choice. It is an actual fact, that if you have been groping under unhappiness, you can choose to be joyous, instead.

And, by effort, lift yourself into joy. If you tend to be fearful, you can overcome that misery by choosing to have courage. The whole trend and the quality of anyone’s life is determined by the choice that are made”.

What is My Purpose in Life:

Choosing is the most important activity of our mind because we proclaim our desires to our subconscious mind. Once the subconscious mind knows our desires, it will do anything to manifest them in our lives.

The choices we make in our lives become our goals. And, if we are sincere in pursuing them, there is no reason why we should not accomplish them.

Indecision Within Life Can Alter Your Journey To Get The Right Answers to: What Is My Purpose In Life?

Indecision, on the other hand, not only creates frustration and anxiety but can also confuse the subconscious mind about what we want. Our choices must be made by ourselves, per our true desires, purposes, and aptitudes.

Sometimes we let others make choices for us, or we make decisions according to what we think is ‘correct’, even if that means we go against our wishes. What is right for someone may not be right for you or me.  The way to know this is by listening to what our heart says.

Here Are Some Approaches to Help Discover or Change and Embrace Your Purpose:

  1. Reflect on What Matters Most: Take time to introspect. Consider your values, passions, and what truly matters to you. Reflect on moments when you felt most alive or fulfilled. These insights can guide you toward your purpose.
  2. Identify Your Strengths and Talents: Recognize your unique abilities. What are you naturally good at? What skills do you possess? Aligning your purpose with your strengths allows you to make a meaningful impact.
  3. Imagine Your Best Possible Self: Visualize an ideal version of yourself. Envision a life where obstacles don’t hold you back. What would you be doing? How would you contribute to the world? Use this vision as a compass for your purpose.
