Daily Devotional and Prayer will always give more clarity for all life issues

update 09-20-2024

Sometimes you simply do not know how to pray or what to ask for. I know because I have been there. We do not understand many things about life, death, heartbreak, and many other human things.

Sometimes we just need to know if we are making the right decisions in our lives, and we need clarity. So, in silence, we bow our heads, close our eyes, and let our minds relax. Then remember this scripture and The Lord’s Prayer:

“But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.  Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray ye:

“Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our debts (sins) as we forgive our debtors, And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever. Amen”

Matthew 6: 7-13

We must make sure that we are praying with a clean heart and have forgiven others as stated next in the scripture:

For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 6: 14,15

What to Remember After You Pray

Thankful

First, remember to be thankful and praise Him for the good in your life. Second, remember that all things work together for the good of those who trust in the Lord, and with “Faith,” all things are possible.

There is no such thing as praying too much. However, sometimes, we pray too little and rush to pray when things turn bad. It is important to keep in touch with our Savior as much as possible. He is always there, He is always listening, and He always loves you and has mercy.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Romans 8:28

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Isaiah 26:3

Until next time… faith and prayer work together…never doubt that Jesus The Words of God.
