How To Re-Purpose Your Life
How To Re-Purpose Your Life- If you need some encouragement, and you are feeling a little out of sorts and need to find a new purpose in your life, let’s get started…post updated 7-15-23
Life can be beautiful at all stages, I did not say “perfect,” but we usually can make it better with some serious thought. There should always be a purpose for life. There may be times that life must be re-evaluated and then re-purposed. That is okay, the only issue is not making the life changes that are necessary when you know something needs to change.
“If you are thinking that you have no purpose at the moment you need to check out the image above…and get your life re-purposed.”
If you are young, your purpose may be to grow in wisdom every day and end your youth by being an expert in your passions for life. You may think that is enough. It isn’t, I am here to tell you to consider changing that thought.
When in mid-life some want to say the age of 50 is the turning point in life, and nothing will ever be the same. It isn’t the same when you reach middle age. You have grown, matured, and not quite as gullible as you used to be. In other words, you are smarter, can figure things out, and know more about when to say no.
But, that isn’t the end, you have to keep living and try to enjoy and have a purpose for the rest of your life, whatever is left. To be perfectly honest, it doesn’t matter what age you are, there is always a need to unwind, rewind, and see if there is a need to re-purpose something within your life.
Living Beyond Mid-Life
If you are beyond mid-life, and what some people identify as “old,” you now have more wisdom and caution and know more about what is the real meaning of life. You may need to seek something that you can identify with now. However, it is important to not let other people identify you as an age group that is beyond re-purposing your life. You are permitted to rise at any age you desire.
If the latter fits you, there is no need to give up, be sad, have regrets, or lay around feeling sorry for yourself.

“If you do not think you have a purpose in life, it will be hard to get up in the morning and start your day. You can find your purpose at any stage in life. If you look within and examine your talents, or if you need to expand your talents, you can keep improving and living a life of purpose.
What you learn can give you another outlook on life, and how to end up with more satisfaction than you ever dreamed of.
“It is time to stop getting all tangled up with the old outlook that when you reach the golden age, you are set for life. After that…you are too old to try something new.”
Here Is Why…
Every person has different circumstances, obligations, and different abilities, we are not arguing that. Age has its benefits, and non-benefits as well. However, age does not have to deter your accountability to yourself, your desires, or your needs.
A person may have all of the intelligence, indwelling abilities, and God’s anointing. However, their circumstances and first obligations may crowd out all of those above. Some people have misfortunes that hit them early in their life. They may be forced to be something, do something, or become something of far more importance at a given time. They may have to step back, make some plans for a later date, and slowly build their way.
There Are Times When Even A Young Person Has To Wait For The Right Time…
Defining the exact path to living a life with purpose is not always easy for every person to reach no matter the age. That is just a fact of life.
Example: If you listen to country music, you have heard the name, Shania Twain. Talent, ability, beauty, and most of it at an early age. However, she had to wait until an opportune time due to hardship. She was an older sister who became the guardian of her younger siblings after her parents died in an accident. However, she did not let this tragedy denounce what she believed was her passion and purpose.
How To Look Within To Spot The Need To Change Your Life Purpose
Some questions… are you living purposefully? If you are satisfied with where you are and what you are doing, good for you. No one has the right to tell you that your status, plans, or life should change.
However, many people, lose hope and start to feel useless when they reach a certain plateau in their life. These individuals, can and may need to act on finding more contentment, joy, and satisfaction. That can be and usually is different for everyone to some degree.
We should ask ourselves these things about our purpose in life as we grow in wisdom and knowledge. We should work toward living a life with thoughts about how we are living in the now…
• do you feel excited and want to get up and start the day
• are you excited about the day that lies ahead
• do you live your life without feeling fulfilled
• what can you do to change your feelings of inadequacies
• is there something you always wanted to try while younger but never did
• do you feel you have hidden talents
• what are your passions, sewing, making a garden
• why do you feel that life is over…if you do…instead of just the beginning time to enjoy your life
Now What- After We Have Thought About Our Current Existence?
With that list, we can learn about our latest purpose in life, and ask if we are lacking something. We have all we need within us, even if some of it is hidden from sight, or if it has never been acknowledged.
Sometimes we sit back and accept life as it flows instead of seeking the life that brings us a new desire to get up in the morning and get to it. We see others and know that we want to feel like them, but what we are doing just isn’t working.
This is the time to question what you can do to change your life, and get re-purposed to a more conclusive “now.”
Are You Just Existing?
Without any expectations of life, and merely just doing what you have to do, you are only existing. Just existing is not a purpose. That is not a way to be at peace if you are not living your life to the fullest, with meaning, and without dread.
You may think that there is no need to dream about your desires, passions, and purpose because you have been told it is too late to change. There is no room to grow, no time to grow because of your current status of career, health, age, or other life things.
Do not let this deceptive stance enter your brain. Try something new that you have wanted to do for years, but were afraid to. Study what you do not know and need to learn about a project that requires a larger scale of education.
If you can think of something that you want to do, you need to make plans and get started even if it is small.
People In our Life Must indeed Be Considered
Yes and no. Taking responsibility for your life purpose does not mean that you do not consider those around you. It may be that everyone else is living their dream. Why not you… why not now?
No one wants to be unconcerned about those they love, and that will not happen unless you allow it. You want their happiness as well, however, a balance can be accomplished. A plan can be established that does not diminish another.
To stay on purpose there is no time for taking life for granted because one knows that to accomplish dreams, one may face criticism sometimes. That criticism is what gives one the drive to keep on dreaming and focusing on the results of your purpose.
One’s expectations must be within reason or you will be setting yourself up for discouragement, and want to quit preparations for a better self and a better ending of life. One must know that most of the time, the struggle is often present for the best things in life.
