There Is Something That God Will Not Do

You may be thinking to yourself when you see the title of this post, has this person lost her salvation? No, I feel very good in my soul and know that God is real, everlasting, and loves me unconditionally, along with everyone else. However, there is truth to the title on the page as there is something that God will not do.

Once we talk about this, I believe you will agree. He will not make you confess your sinful nature, believe in Him, or live for Him. If a person becomes saved it is by the mercy of a living God and …
Jesus’ words in
John 6:44- No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

We make choices every day. Many people will run the other way, rather than seeking or making a choice to seek divine revelation and understanding.

Salvation is a choice that we have been given, and it is the will of God, which can heal the sorrows of life. However, we cannot do it alone through some intelligent theories. It must be coordinated with the Word of God, through faith. It is up to us to accept by faith, God’s Word, His promises, and His truth by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and that He was raised from the dead.

Jesus does not make us make the right choices. We can be led by His wonderful love, and He can put a desire in our hearts. We must believe, and put forth the efforts to live a Christian life by repenting of our sins, seeing ourselves as evil and needing repentance, and having a desire to see Him in Heaven.

Today’s Scripture

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open  the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20

“And the Lord said My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” Genesis 6:3

“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2: 8-9
God will manifest Himself to anyone who seeks Him, but He will not “make” any soul accept salvation and the word of God. He has led the way to salvation and He has offered us a chance to seek Him. What more could He do, than die on the cross for our sins?

And ye shall seek me, and find me when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

Jesus will not make any human live a Christian life, or make them be saved. They must desire to be saved, and they must be drawn by the Father which sent Jesus Christ to earth. If a person does not confess his sins, He will not accept him into heaven when he dies. There must be a confession, and there must be a life lived according to the scriptures. The simple word here is “make.” God does not make us come to Him and as stated above in the scripture, the Father must draw us, but if we do not let go of our sinful nature and ask for His forgiveness, our souls will be lost.

Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your heats, ye double minded.” James 4:8

The Rich Man and Lazarus
There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day; and there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; and in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am reoriented in this flame.
And, Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime recieveth thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou are tormented.” Luke 16: 19-25
It does not matter how rich, famous, beautiful, popular, or whatever the word might be that lifts a person high in the sight of this world. If that person does not listen to the voice within him and seeks a life of salvation, there is no hope for eternal life.
“No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Luke 16:13
The King James Version:  ‘ A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.
There are many scriptures in this post, and that is for a reason. I could tell you repeatedly something that I believe or know to be true, but the Word of God; The Book, can offer you far more evidence than I can.

The Lord gives every human a chance to repent. He loves the criminal, the murderer, the most sinful human on earth. That is why He died. Nevertheless, He will not take a human by the collar and drag them to an altar of prayer. He will not force them.

“There is only one way to go to Heaven, and that is “Except a man be born again, in his spirit”
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: the same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou are a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
John 3: 3
v 5 – Jesus answered,
“Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter in the Kingdom of God.”
verses 6-21 further explainThe rest of the Chapter; Jesus goes into the explanation of how to be born again. One must believe, ask forgiveness, and live a life that is pledged to Him.
“I am the door: by me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” John 10:9
Salvation is a gift, but every individual must believe, have faith, and seek forgiveness for his or her sin. He will not make any person believe. Only, if the person is searching and seeking to know Christ, then He will manifest Himself and lead the way for their salvation.
