  1. Start by being grateful every day when you arise. There is so much to be grateful for regardless of what is going on in your life.   5. Set your life goals, if it is to be the best mom, wife, friend, or employee, and rise to the top of your profession…by all means, do it.
  6. Learn from your mistakes, don’t dwell on what happened, dwell on how to fix it.
  7. Accept and learn from criticism if you receive something from a critic, remember that you can learn from anyone. It may be to not be too critical of others.
  8. Build empathy and the ability to share what you know and have learned.
  9. Self-observe your passion for life, and what makes you feel the happiest in doing.
  10. Don’t try to please everyone else and get lost in the process.
  11. Be compassionate-not selfish, if you can help someone in need, you are helping yourself.
  12. Learn how to forgive what has upset you in the past as unforgiveness will deter your happiness and hurt you further.
  13. Look in the mirror every day, and give yourself a thumbs up.
  14. Do not listen to negative thoughts, or speeches from others, or anyone. Walk away.
  15. Don’t try to be a perfectionist-instead be a preventionist.
  16. Be Confident– you and only you have your talents. Learn what they are and emphasize them by making them become better each day.
  17. Make someone feel good..a smile, a compliment, a helping hand, a coffee, or just listen.
