How To Be Saved Is Believing In Jesus -it is that simple…

First, we ask a question of you, if you are seeking answers about How to be Saved, why are you? Do you feel your life is incomplete, are you troubled, and feel destitute? Do you need an answer to something no one else can give you? If you feel any of this; the answers are in knowing Jesus Christ and having a personal relationship with Him.

Many people today are afraid of being classified as too religious or a nut job. Well, those explanations are because they have never truly wanted to believe in Jesus, His Mercy, His Love, and His Forgiveness. They do not know what they are missing.

To Begin The Journey of Salvation

“Do you believe in The Lord, Jesus Christ?  He came as a baby, to the Virgin Mary, and lived and died on the cross, for the sins of the human race. He was resurrected from the dead, to save all who would believe and that we might have eternal life?” That question is easy for some people, yet very hard for others.

Believing in Jesus is the prominent factor. Asking for your sins to be forgiven is where to start, and determining that through His grace and love, you are forgiven are the next steps to redemption.

Some people cannot imagine that the world was formed by a God who has all power, nor that God sent His Son to earth as a baby. Yet, they can believe that a comic explosion is how the world was formed and people were created. To those who believe, it is much clearer and easier to believe that Jesus is the Son of God who was created in the image of God, came to earth, died for all sins, and returned to Heaven.

If the answer is yes from you, then our explanation is quite simple, as the scriptures state that you must “believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shall be saved.”

Paul gave instructions to the prison keeper who was afraid when the prison doors were opened and the following message he received when he inquired:

“Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling and fell down before Paul and Silas, and brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?  And they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”  Acts 16: v 29,30, 31,

This is Salvation Made Simple…..we must have faith

This tells us it is not that hard to see or experience being cleansed from our iniquity. However, you must believe that you are born into sin before you can become cleansed from your sins. Another scripture, tells us that without “f a i t h” it is impossible to please Him. Why?

If we do not have faith in the Word of God, (written by Holy Men of God) and what The Word tells us, and do not have faith that He has risen from the dead, then we cannot receive this salvation. We must have F a i t h. *The Bible (Word of God) is the most-sold book in the world.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2: 8,9

If we believe, have faith, and ask for forgiveness for our sins, He is a just and loving God who will forgive us and come to live in our hearts and souls.

When we become saved, our salvation does not end there.  It takes us to leave the old things behind and start anew.  If we have had a life of evil doing or actions that are not becoming to a Christian, we must forsake those things and change those ways to those that are ordered by the Lord.  This will be an easy task for someone who has decided to follow the words of the Lord.

The Ten Commandments, also known as the Decalogue, found in the Ark of the Covenant are:

1 And God spake all these words, saying,

I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it, thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

13 Thou shalt not kill.

14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

15 Thou shalt not steal.

16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor’s.  – Taken from – Exodus 20 – King James Version (KJV

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9

How To Be Saved Is Believing In Jesus

In seeking salvation, it is good to remember that we are all sinners, saved by grace when we confess our sins.  We all have to go through the same channels and we must repent and confess our sins in the same manner. Then we must live a life that is changed.  He will not enter into a heart that is not serious or sorry, and He knoweth the very abundance of our heart.

It is then up to us to seek the Lord’s will in our lives and trust His Divine knowing for what is right for us.
