Christian Encouragement For Our Failures

We often look back upon our lives when we are in a slump, and review our past failures instead of our triumphs. Instead of rejoicing that we now have our feet planted on solid ground. Yes, even if we are fully serving the Lord, there are times of discouragement. If we dwell too long on the times of not being our best self, or our failure to read the Word of God or pray more, it will sabotage the present and our future.

All we have to do is begin today and do what Jesus has outlined for us. It will take away our joy in Jesus if we continue to think about the negative or the past. That is how Satan bombards our thinking. What to remember is that if in the past we have let something come between us and the Lord it is part of learning. This is how we become better, stronger, and more faithful Christian.

If we remember the scriptures, we know that God repented that He made man. What does that tell one about the nature of humans? However, there is also redemption for man, therefore our sins and failures can be corrected if we choose.

When We Are On A Spiritual Journey

If you are on your spiritual journey, and you feel you have failed, remember this wonderful scripture:

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11

Experiencing Life As a Christian

We never know what we would do in any given situation, under the same circumstance. When a person becomes cast down, heartbroken, and feels their existence is threatened, no one can understand unless they have experienced it themselves. Yes, the Holy Spirit is within us, and the Bible gives us direction, however, we sometimes make the wrong choice.

Failures or Mistakes Makes Us Stronger

Often failure, and realizing our mistakes will help us become stronger Christian. It may be that we have not studied the Word enough. and know the best way to be, and to do something, or accomplish our anticipated results. This is why we have Christian teachers Life Coaches, and other self-help material. The Bible is our guide, however, sometimes if there is no understanding when reading the Word of God, we may need assistance. Humans, even Christians get into the habit of doing things their way, and it may not be God’s way.

When We Need to Change

If you are like me, when I need to change something, I usually feel it in my heart and soul. The Holy Ghost tells us when we have erred. It will say to us, that wasn’t just right. Correct this within your life but move forward and keep trying to please the Lord.

When we make mistakes or fail at something, it is usually essential that we change. Change our actions, change our thoughts, change our mannerisms, and change how we relate to the concepts that lead us into a situation.

Another thing we must always remember about our Christian Journey is how do we prevent other occurrences? How could we have prevented those that are behind us? We are responsible for our actions. Mistakes and errors are not the sins and the Word gives us direction for a more positive life.

The Word states:  Ephesians 4

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; ²⁴And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. ²⁵Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor: for we are members one of another. ²⁶Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: ²⁷Neither give place to the devil. ²⁸Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. ²⁹Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

This is What I Have Learned When Trying to Live a Better Christian Life

Analyze my failures, mistakes, and lessons …

• Pray more, seek the Lord more(“Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh unto you.” James 4:8). He will meet you somewhere in between. You can’t undo the past; therefore forgiving yourself will help you carry on.

Very often in life, people will do something that is entirely against everything they believe in, I have been there and done that, but God’s grace, love, and mercy were sufficient to forgive.

There does come a time when you just might not have as many chances to correct your actions if you keep making the same mistakes. God does not always strive with man.

You are not too bad of a person that God can’t redeem you. Not any human who confesses their sins, mistakes, or failures will be turned away from Jesus’ love and forgiveness. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” Act 16:31

He loves every creature walking the face of this beautiful earth, and is merciful.
