Is God Real-The Question: What The Bible And Creation Reveal

Throughout the centuries, humanity has searched, questioned, and found numerous answers to the question: Is God Real? Some still deny, despite the evidence presented as facts, while others believe and are certain.

What is the difference? How do you know for sure? The simple answer is when you feel His presence and see His omnipotence in everything living, you will know.

Every person eventually faces one of life’s greatest questions: Is God real? Have you ever stopped long enough to consider how the earth, the oceans, the stars, the moon, and life itself came into existence?

Who Is God In The Bible A Journey In ScripturePerhaps you’ve asked that question during a season of loss, disappointment, or uncertainty. Perhaps you’ve wondered if God exists at all, or if faith is simply something people hold onto for comfort. These are honest questions, and you are not alone in asking them.

However, we often become so busy with everyday life that we rarely pause to reflect on the incredible complexity and beauty of creation. Yet when we do, we are confronted with a question that has challenged humanity for centuries:

Could all of this exist without a Creator? As you read, I ask that you keep an open mind.

Please note there is no way to discuss here all the evidence of the miraculous blessing of the God who created all things.

What Do Skeptics Say?

Researchers discussing data in a laboratory setting, wearing safety gear and blue gloves. Some believe everything happened by chance. Others believe natural processes alone explain our existence. Still others conclude that science has rendered the need for God obsolete.

But what if science is not the enemy of faith? What if science simply helps us discover the incredible order already woven into creation?

Many scientists throughout history have believed that studying the natural world reveals the work of an intelligent Designer rather than diminishing Him. The deeper we explore the universe, from distant galaxies to the intricate structure of DNA, the more remarkable creation becomes.

What Does the Authentic Bible Say?

For Significant Thought:

What Does The Bible Say About JoyMany skeptics within the world want to degrade, declassify, and refute that there was an original Bible or Books that were written by men scholars, inspired by God.

The Bible, being the Word of God, was recorded in manuscripts and authored by those who were scholars and those who believed in God. It is known throughout the world as the book that has exceeded any other book in sales. History concludes that more than 5 + billion copies have been sold.

However, there are many historians and archaeologists who have acknowledged and confirmed the Book’s authenticity. History states that archaeology studies cannot prove that the Bible is God’s written word, but they can and do substantiate the Bible’s historical accuracy.  The men who wrote it were the ones inspired by God and put it into words; God’s Words.

Jewish archaeologist Nelson Glueck has stated that categorically no one discovery has ever controverted a Bible reference. They have confirmed that within the Book of Acts, known as the Gospel of Luke, there are consistent names of cities, kings, and governmental figures in important Biblical places that existed during this time. This includes 32 countries, 49 plus cities, and less than 10 islands; without any error.

Long before telescopes explored distant galaxies or microscopes revealed the complexity of living cells, the Bible opened with a profound declaration:

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

— Genesis 1:1 (KJV)

The Bible does not begin by attempting to prove God’s existence. It simply introduces Him as the Creator of everything that exists. Throughout its pages, the Bible consistently teaches that creation reveals God’s eternal power, wisdom, and glory.

Psalm 19:1 declares:

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.”

Romans 1:20 adds:

“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen…

The Evidence Is All Around Us- The Earth And It’s Magnificance

A breathtaking view of planet Earth showing continents and oceans against a dark backdrop.

The Earth’s size is that of perfect containment because of the aerospace or thin blanket of gases that surround the Earth and is located about 50 miles above the exterior.

This aerospace: also referred to as the atmosphere is approximately eighty percent nitrogen and twenty percent oxygen, with traces of other gases. We get our oxygen for living from the atmosphere. If the size of the Earth were not perfect, not too small or too large, there would be no atmosphere or life as we know it today. If the Earth were larger, it would be like the planet Jupiter that does not sustain life as there is free hydrogen or no aerospace to protect any living thing.

The Earth is the only planet that supports life with aerospace in the exact amount and mixture of gases for all living things.

Gather your thoughts now on this: If the earth had been established by the statements by the skeptics; how was the Earth made in such splendor to sustain human life, animals, plants, insects, and every living species? Let me again ask; how was the Earth made from a waterless mass of rock as some describe it?

The Earth spins at precisely the right speed. The moon controls the tides with silent precision. The sun is positioned at exactly the right distance for life to flourish. The oceans rise and fall in rhythm with the moon.

The human body contains trillions of living cells working together in remarkable harmony. Your heart beats without your conscious command. Your lungs breathe while you sleep. Your mind can love, reason, imagine, create, and dream.

None of us designed any of this. Not one of us chose the day we were born. We never instructed our hearts to beat or our eyes to see.

And yet…Here we are.

Living on a planet uniquely suited for life, surrounded by a universe filled with order, beauty, and astonishing complexity.

For many people, these realities point beyond chance and coincidence. They point toward a Creator whose wisdom and power are displayed throughout creation.

The Moon

The MoonThe moon, which is also referred to as a satellite, is also in perfect form and size, and it is located in the perfect span from the Earth. This star’s satellite rotates around the earth and other planets.

The moon has no light or air of its own. It shines because it reflects the light of the sun. As physics tells us; the moon is not large at all, it only appears to be. The other planets and they are larger than the moon.

The Water

The Water 2What is the need for water? We drink it for survival. Our body is 60% water.  According to the Journal of Biological, H. H. Mitchell, the brain and heart are 73% water, while the lungs are somewhere (plus/minus) 83% of water. Our muscles and kidneys are said to be 79% water, and guess what? The bones as hard as they are and supportive as they are, contain 31% water.

It fills the oceans, sea, lakes, streams, and gullies. It can be used to make certain foods, tea, coffee, and other beverages; yet we bathe and wash our hands in it, as well as drink it.  We must have it to live and cannot function when we have not had sufficient water and will become dehydrated and die without it.

It has no odor, no color, has no taste, and is without chemicals; not a living thing, animal, human, or plants can remain alive without it.

The Creation of Man

A tiny newborn baby resting peacefully in a hospital crib, swaddled in a blanket.

A world crafted with purpose, a universe held together by design, and a humanity formed with intention. And here’s something worth thinking about: If the world around you is not an accident, then you are not an accident either.

The human body has 12 systems that make up the anatomy. Each system has a performance that must take place to keep the body alive.

These systems are the following:

  • Skeletal
  • Muscular
  • Cardiovascular
  • Endocrine
  • Nervous
  • Respirator
  • Immune/Lymphatic
  • Urinary
  • Female Reproductive
  • Make Reproductive
  • Integumentary

Without getting into each of these as most are familiar.   But, if you were to study each of these systems, your eyes would be more open to the fact that only our God could make a body that functions like the human body. Your entire body contains all of the necessary quantities for living; if something goes out, you get sick.

There is not room to write all the true miracles of how humans are made. From conception to birth, how you became a living soul is so miraculous.

“Your life has meaning, your existence has purpose, and your soul has a Creator.”

Moses was the author of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers and Deuteronomy of the Old Testament, and gives the creation of the Heavens and Earth and the creation of man in the first chapter.

“And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the earth…Genesis 1: 26a, and then in…

Chapter 2 Moses continues in verse 7-

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

You don’t have to believe that today, you do not have to agree with everything a Christian says, nor should you stop seeking more guidance. Read, study, and seek more clarification from the God who made you.

If creation truly has a Creator, then perhaps it is more than a collection of stars, mountains, oceans, and living creatures.

What Job Discovered About God

Close-up black and white image focusing on a Bible page with the Book of Job.One of the most remarkable conversations in Scripture takes place in the Book of Job.

After experiencing unimaginable suffering, Job questioned many things he could not understand. Instead of giving Job every answer he wanted, God revealed something even greater: His majesty.

God asked:

“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.”

— Job 38:4 (KJV)

Later He asked:

“Who shut up the sea with doors…?”

— Job 38:8 (KJV)

God’s questions remind us that while human knowledge is limited, His wisdom has no limits.

By the end of the book, Job declared:

“I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.”

— Job 42:5 (KJV)

Job didn’t receive answers to every question. He discovered Someone greater than his questions.

Believing In God

Listening to GodBelieving in God generally means entering into a relationship with Him, characterized by trust and commitment. It goes beyond mere acknowledgment of His existence; it involves taking God at His word and relying on Him for guidance and salvation. True belief requires understanding God as He has revealed Himself, which includes recognizing His attributes such as being loving, merciful, and just.

Perhaps the greatest question is not simply, “Is God real?” Perhaps it is:

  • What would believing in God mean for my life?
  • What would it mean for my future?
  • What would it mean for eternity?

The Bible invites every person to seek God sincerely.

It promises:

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

— Jeremiah 29:13 (KJV)

If you have doubts, don’t stop searching. Read God’s Word. Ask honest questions. Pray, even if you’re unsure anyone is listening. God is not afraid of sincere seekers. He welcomes them.

Final Thoughts

The question about God being real has been asked for thousands of years. Each person must answer it personally. Creation points toward a Creator. Scripture reveals His character, and Jesus Christ reveals His love, as He is the Son of God.

If your search has brought you here today, perhaps that is no accident. Perhaps it is the beginning of a journey that leads not only to answers, but to the One who created you, knows you, and invites you into a relationship with Him.
