The Bible does not present Heaven as a vague fantasy, wishful thinking, or merely a comforting symbol. Scripture speaks of Heaven as a reality, the dwelling place of God, and the eternal home prepared for those who belong to Him.

John 14:2–3 (KJV)
“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
These words are deeply personal. Jesus did not describe Heaven as a concept or metaphor. He spoke of it as a prepared place.
Notice His wording: “I go to prepare a place for you.” A place suggests reality, purpose, and destination, not imagination. For believers, this is one of the strongest assurances in Scripture that Heaven is a reality for all who seek the presence of the Lord.
Heaven Is God’s Dwelling Place
