Daily Devotional-Be Not Anxious

Daily Devotional-Be Not Anxious –God is love and His Word has all of the answers to our needs…

We as humans have a tendency to become anxious when we are faced with things we do not understand. It is hard to keep the faith when those things we have no control over, or the things that we have never experienced before happen to us. We try to be positive, and certain and believe that all things work together for those who love God. (Romans 8:28-KJV) It is hard, but we must try and remember what the Bible teaches us is truth everlasting.

The truth of the matter is God’s Words give us every reason to trust Him, His authority, His knowing, and His love, regardless of what is going on in our life. We must remember that God, The Father, and Jesus Christ work together in that they are one, and they are more knowledgeable about our situation than we are. (John 10: 30) They will never desert us or leave us alone to bare our problems in life. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10 KJV

Putting our trust in Jesus as our refuge and strength is what must be done to have peace of mind, soul, and body. It is our defense, it is our hope, and our faith in Him that will give us peace even when we do not understand the whys in life. Nothing else is as perfect as the love of God, The Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ.

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26: 3 KJV

How Do We Turn Our Anxiety Into Trust in The Savior of the World-regardless of what is going on with our life…

The first step for anyone is to make sure that their sins have been forgiven by confession to Jesus if they haven’t already. Confession and forgiveness work together in that when we confess our sins and ask Him to forgive us and make a commitment to Him, He will forgive.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1: 9 KJV

Secondly, Christians know that prayer is essential to all of life things that come our way, regardless of how big or small. Without prayer in our lives, we will not survive on our Christian journey.

Psalms 34:15 – “The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.”

Thirdly, we find inspiration, wisdom, knowledge, survival, and all things necessary for life within the Word of God. Everything you need is there for a Christian’s Journey through life. There is a reassurance of God’s Mercy, over and over in Psalms 136 KJV.

There is also Scripture that tells us the following:

4Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. 5Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4: 4-7 KJV

Put Your Trust in Him and He Will Give You Peace Everlasting-for His Mercy Endureth Forever…

Psalms 136 says it all…

7 To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:

8 The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:
