Never Underestimate God’s Promises- When The Battle is Over

There is a song I am reminded of which states: “When the battle is over, we shall wear a crown.”

There are days when life feels like death in some ways. You start to wonder how you are even existing. It may even appear that the battles you’re fighting are more than you deserve, and you wonder where God is. Yes, we are human, and often our thoughts can get the best of us.

However, the good news is: The Battle Isn’t Over Yet, But It is On It’s Way

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11

Saten-The Evil One (Devil) Wants to Distort Your View-Don’t Let Him

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

There is always someone lurking around you, trying to take your faith in God Almighty down. Never forget that he does not have your best interest at heart. He wants you to stop believing in Jesus Christ, the Lord. However, stop him before he takes hold when the first thoughts mentioned above come to your mind.

Never let your thoughts linger because the Lord loves you more than anyone or anything, and He wants what is best for your life. It is important to remember that, regardless of how it seems, the Lord is on your side. When you are trying your best to live with His Spirit within you…see the verse in:

  • Romans 8:9: “You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.”

He will come to you when you need Him the most. He will give you comfort, peace, and help. He will never forsake or leave you alone.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

Don’t Fear What May Come – Believe What God Has Promised

3Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. 6, And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Psalms 37:3-6

Truth Is This

Yes, there will be times when your faith is tested to the brim. You will cry, pray, beg, have doubt, and pain. These are a part of life that every human experiences.

1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; Ecclesiastes-3-4  Keep reading the Chapter
